The Tenebris Somnia Silver Key is handed to you by Sanguis, and the Silver Bottle it opens is filled with water taken from save points — three of them, each one permanently extinguished when you use it.
Getting the Tenebris Somnia silver key from Sanguis
- Try to take the Cursed Film Canister in the Film History classroom of the film school.
- The first attempt teleports Julia to the Film Studio Lobby. Go back and try again.
- The second time, Sanguis is waiting in the lobby.
- Walk through his dialogue options until you can choose SPELL.
- Keep talking until he writes the information into your Old Book and hands you the Silver Key, together with the instructions for cleansing the canister.
Then open the bottle's cabinet:
- Take the elevator to Floor 2, enter the apartment and go into the bathroom.
- Use the Silver Key on the locked cabinet next to the sink.
- The cabinet holds the Silver Bottle.

Filling the Silver Bottle
The bottle needs three doses of water, and the only water comes from save points.
- Use the Silver Bottle on three different save flames. Each flame you drain stops working permanently, so the fill is a deliberate sacrifice.
- Save before you take a dose, because the flame goes out for good the moment you use it.
- When all three are drained the bottle becomes the Bottle With Three Doses of Water.
The route that keeps the later floors' flames intact uses these three:
- the Floor 2 apartment Bedroom,
- the Floor 3 apartment Study,
- the Director's Office inside the Floor 2 A.S. studio.
Emptying exactly those three gives you the filled bottle and the achievement that asks you to fill the silver bottle by removing three save points — the sacrifice and the trophy are the same act. Keep the Film School flame alive if you can, because you return to the film school several times for the canisters, the copper key and the photo room.
