Probably Stolen aug identification is a queue-reading skill. Augs are people taken over by a rogue sentient AI chip: they look human until they do not, and every faction on the station agrees on the policy — shoot them on sight. Three hard tells show up in your customer queue.

- They ask to purchase medical or material supplies.
- They specify their budget in an unnatural, robotic way.
- There is a small triangle marker above their right ear — on the left side of the screen from your point of view.
Robospeak is a strong but imperfect tell. A common line is "This unit needs-", but some Augs behave normally until they speak, so the eye and outfit clues carry the weight. Upper-level servants sent to collect for a household are often the trap: they are dressed like lower-level customers, and an outfit that contradicts the faction they claim is usually very obvious.
Dr. Jackson sells an Aug scanner as a mechanical assist, but your eyes are the default check. An Aug is not the same thing as a wanted face, and the wanted board page lists the other kind of customer you can turn in.
What The Security Department Lists
The Security Department's Augmented Identification Guide lists visual features such as a visible aug chip, unusual pupils and an uncanny expression, and non-visual features such as unnatural stillness, twitching, an outfit that does not match their claimed faction, robotic vocabulary and overly formal phrasing.
What Shooting The Wrong Person Costs
Shooting costs you when you misread. You delete a paying regular, a faction contact or a recurring customer. Essential recurring NPCs, including the Mentor, are marked non-shootable, so a panic click cannot delete them.
