If sign-up or login fails with "Check your internet connection", that message is the known failure, and the developer has published no cause for it. It was reported on 23 Oct 2026 in the Steam thread "You can play directly on the website", while other players were in the same browser build at the same time. There is no published fix, so the routes below are the ones that work.
| What you hit | What to do |
|---|---|
| Sign-up or login says "Check your internet connection" | No published cause. Use the account email route below, and try the desktop client. |
| The verification email never arrives | Email support@isekaiguardians.com from the same address you registered with and ask for manual verification. |
| You played the Closed Beta | Sign in with the same username and password. You do not register again. |
| Farm seeds are not recognised | Switch the client language to English. Patched around 24–25 Oct 2026. |
| The Discord link on the site is dead | Use the invite posted in the Steam thread on 19 Oct 2026. |
| The site will not load for you at all | Try the desktop client, then the support address. |
The "Check your internet connection" message
On 23 Oct 2026, in the thread "You can play directly on the website", a player wrote: "Unfrotunately your site doesnt work neither. On sign up or login sais 'Check your internet connection.'"
Another player answered in the same thread four minutes later: "Over 200 people playing via the website right now; make sure it isn't something on your end that isn't working." That reply came from another player, not from the developer, and the thread carried on without anyone publishing a cause. The reporter pushed back on it — if a few hundred people were playing, the message being a real fault rather than a local problem still needed explaining — but no answer followed.
So the honest state is this: the error is real, it is not a Steam-side problem, and it has not been confirmed as a problem on your end either. Nobody has narrowed it down, so do not spend the evening on it. Use the routes below.
The developer's own first post in that thread (23 Oct 2026, 3:04pm) is why the browser route is the recommended one at all: "Hey as you know the steam release had to be delayed but you can play directly on the website at isekaiguardians.com You can later link your steam to your account and play from there."
If the browser form will not let you through, the free desktop client is a separate download that signs in with the same account, and it does not go through the same sign-up form.
If the verification email never arrives
The official site's own FAQ answers exactly this question:
"I registered but didn't receive a verification email. What should I do?"
The answer is: "Email support@isekaiguardians.com from the same email address you used to register, and request manual verification. We will manually verify your account so you can start playing."
Use the same address you registered with, because that is how the team finds the account.
If you played the Closed Beta
The official site's FAQ asks "I already played Closed Beta. Do I have to register again?" and answers: "No. You can sign in with the same username and password you used during Closed Beta. There is no need to register again."
Do not create a second account. The beta account is the one holding your name reservation and your early-supporter rewards, and the Open Beta reset page explains which of those survive the launch wipe.
Farm seeds are not recognised
On 25 Oct 2026 a player reported: "the farm is not working; it doesn't seem to recognize carrot seeds, onion seeds, or any other types of seeds."
The developer's answer was: "try changing language into english it should work", followed by "which language do you play?" The player replied that they were playing in German — "though you had actually already patched the bug yesterday!"
So the seeds were a language-localization fault: the client and the server disagreed about the seed names, and the workaround was switching the client language to English. The developer says the bug was already patched the day before that reply, around 24 Oct 2026. If your seeds still are not recognised, switch the client language to English and try again before reporting it.
The Discord link on the site
The link on the official site was reported broken in the Steam thread "Discord Link Broken on the website" (15 Oct 2026). On 19 Oct 2026 a player posted a working invite:
https://discord.com/invite/wJubgK2K5s "this link worked for me."
If the site's own link fails, use that one. Invites expire and get replaced, so if it no longer works, look for the current one in the Steam discussions.
One report that the site does not open from Russia
A player posted on 24 Oct 2026 in the same thread: "It doesn't open from Russia. Do you not work with us?"
No one from the developer replied to that, and there is no published statement about regional availability, so this page records it as a single unanswered individual report and not as a confirmed block. If the site will not load for you and you are outside Russia, the same routes apply — the desktop client, the support address, and the Steam thread.
Where to ask
- support@isekaiguardians.com — the address the official site itself uses for verification and account problems.
- The Discord server — the community channel, where the working invite came from.
- The Steam discussions for app 4171130 — where the developer answers in public, and where the referral code was posted.
- The official site — the verification-email and Closed-Beta answers above live in its FAQ.

This page was written on 2026-10-30 from the developer's FAQ and the Steam threads of 15–27 Oct 2026. The sign-up error still has no published cause, so re-read the Steam thread and the FAQ before assuming these workarounds are still needed — and expect a first session with no tutorial to be rough, which is what the newest reply on the board (27 Oct 2026) describes: "I gave it a try... there's no tutorial ... no idea what to do ... good luck folks!".
