The Harvest Moon: Echoes of Teradea walkthrough runs on 13 chapters plus three interludes that you can follow in order without ever being hard-blocked. The game ships with no built-in guide, and the two things that genuinely stall players are the Happilia gates in Bloomfield Chapter 2 and the tool upgrades that Maplehill requires, and both are handled below.

Harvest Moon: Echoes of Teradea walkthrough: all 13 chapters

Harvest Moon: Echoes of Teradea has no built-in walkthrough, but two community resources on the Steam Guides hub fill the gap: a Recipes Guide that lists every dish per cooking appliance, and a Crop Mutation guide that maps every farm, its plot count and which seed mutates in which soil. Those two cover the kitchen and the soil, which is where most players get stuck.

The story itself is a linear list of 13 chapters with the tool upgrades, the two desert routes and the mining union gated inside it.

The chapter list

  1. Prologue
  2. Bloomfield Chapter 1: Blooming Trust With Animals
  3. Interlude: The Harvest Goddess Glade
  4. Tidewind Chapter 1: The Ferry Braving the Rough Seas
  5. Tidewind Chapter 2: Eileen's Wish and Kukri's Challenge
  6. Interlude: The Snowy Tundra
  7. Quarrytop Chapter 1: Intrigue at the Quaking Mine
  8. Quarrytop Chapter 2: Paul's Passion and Heather's Heart
  9. Interlude: The Sand Sea or the Lava Cavern
  10. Maplehill Chapter 1: Bryce's Impatience
  11. Maplehill Chapter 2: Desmond's Decree
  12. Harvest Goddess Chapter 1: The Forest Shrouded in Mist
  13. Interlude: The Harvest Goddess Glade, the post-ending chapter where the statue's token crafting unlocks

Two structural notes that save time. The Great Sand Sea and the Great Lava Cavern are alternative routes north, not a sequence — take either. And the mining union floors are earned in order (10, then 30, then 50), with the whole Quarrytop story happening inside the mine. The Happilia bottles that open the late chapters are explained on the Happilia page.

Prologue and Bloomfield Chapter 1

Create your character — Robert or Carol — pick a birthday season and a name, then wake up in Bloomfield, meet your childhood friend and Mayor Doug and get the DocPad. Tiny explains Happilia. Rub the Power Statue in Bloomfield Park to learn that statues pay out. That night the Happilia you collected fills the star-shaped bottles. In the morning your barn is repaired and a newborn calf is inside; naming it gives you the Pitchfork, Old Sickle, Brush, Clippers and Milker.

Bloomfield Chapter 1 opens with Fritz at the Animal Center talking about wolves, then three requests, the Cockatiel, Jane's milk, and the climb up to Lupo. Every item those requests need is listed on the villager requests page.

Interlude: the glade, Tidewind Chapter 1 and Chapter 2

The glade interlude is where you exchange Power Wisp Fruit for permanent upgrades, take the tent from Theresa and repair the Wildflower Bridge and the Wind-Swept Great Bridge.

In Tidewind Chapter 1 you fish a bottle out of the sea, Mara reveals that her father Art is marooned on an island, and Shima at the Remote Island Information Center needs the Sprummer Island Nautical Chart — which is in the silver chest on the cliffs behind Nera's pond on Tornado Island. Catch the Guardian there and you find out it is Nera, the Tidewind guardian. Fill the Tidewind Happilia bottle and her tree returns, dispersing the storms.

Chapter 2 is Kukri's 5 Bronze, 5 Silver and 2 Gold for the Fishing Faceoff, and Eileen's 10 Palm Lumber, 10 Pine Sap and 2 Sheep Wool for the Lantern Festival. A full Tidewind bottle triggers the Tidewind Hyperblossom, where every fishing spot in the village enters splashy-water mode.

The snowy tundra and Quarrytop Chapter 1 and Chapter 2

The Snowy Tundra interlude opens the Forest of Echoes South Area. Art sells the Expert Fishing Rod, Rowena's second rucksack upgrade asks for 2 High-Quality Fabric, 5 Titanium and 10 Pine Sap, and this is where you learn that the chasm on the road to Quarrytop needs a mount with a jump ability — tame the Silver Dapple Horse near the top of the Trailhead if you have barn space.

In Quarrytop, bribe Lorelei with 3 Apple, 6 Wheat and 6 Rye for access to Floor 10, buy an ore bag from Travis and dig down. Floors 1 to 4 hold Stone, Iron Ore, Raw Glass Gemstone and Raw Agate Gemstone; floors 6 to 9 add Bronze Ore and Raw Jade Gemstone. On Floor 5 you find the Mining Union Card, which is where the Quarrytop story turns. Behind the mine's red doors is the King's Chamber, Gorgon and the withered Quarrytop Spirit Tree.

Chapter 2 is Heather's 2-star Apple Jam Baguette, Araucana Egg and Jersey Milk, Paul's 15 Iron, 2 Cod and 6 Leek, and Travis asking 5 Agate, 5 Jade and 5 Bronze for Floor 30 and then 10 Crystal, 10 Amethyst and 10 Garnet for Floors 31 to 50.

Maplehill Chapter 1 and Chapter 2

Pick up and deliver the Maple Mart order, meet Jimmy's musicians and the Sommet restaurant, and help Doc Jr. with the component for his DocPad upgrade — the finished DocPad Zero Doc Jr. Edition gains dowsing. Amad wants 3 Gold, 3 Garnet and 3 Moonstone for Shirley's harmonica, and both Garnet and Moonstone need the Expert Pickaxe. Nicolas wants a letter delivered to Lucia and the sheet music brought back.

Chapter 2 is Antonio's 6 Magic, 6 Bitter and 6 White Bell Pepper for the Maplehill Festival — all three are Yellow Bell Pepper mutations, and the farm you plant them on decides which one you get, because Bloomfield gives Magic, Tidewind Bitter and Quarrytop White. Beatrice wants 15 Sturdy Square Lumber, 15 Sturdy Board Lumber and 15 Hard Stone for the Expo, and she wants the raw rock rather than processed Hard Material Stone.

Harvest Goddess Chapter 1 and the ending

Meet Sergei, who walked through the mist. Break into his Impenetrable Lab by climbing the vine to the cliff above it and dropping down the chimney. Sergei asks for 1 Cherry Pie, 1 Pumpkin Potage Soup and 1 Bluefin Tuna with no minimum star rank, then he and Doc Jr. need 5 Bronze, 5 Silver and 5 Crystal for the Mist-Dispelling Lantern.

Light the torch in the glade with the lantern, clear three patches of mist and enter the Heart of the Harvest Goddess Forest. Use the full bottle of Forest Happilia on the Harvest Goddess Tree: Tiny returns to her full size, the credits roll, and the post-ending chapter opens, where the glade statue can craft biome-specific fertiliser and the tokens used for friendship and romance. The route through the mist is on the Forest of Echoes page.
