The platinum needs all 40 trophies, and none of them can be missed: no quest closes, no dialogue answer changes a trophy, and no difficulty is required. This is the order that covers them fastest.
FINAL FANTASY RESONANCE trophy guide: the fastest route
- Play the story from the Battlefield to the Crystal Tower, without skipping the optional fights inside each chapter, and keep the cleared save the game offers you at the ending. That save is how you come back for everything else.
- Collect all 99 Tablet Shards and hand them in at the Oblivion Palace. That takes Memento at 60 shards and pays out the Adamantite, the magicite and the Lightbringer.
- Get the free Visions. The 16 Sanctums each hold three questions with no wrong answer, and the seven side-quest rewards and the Sephiroth fight cover the remaining three. Ten Visions gives Visions Assemble, all 26 gives Will Crystallized, and eight at maximum Mastery Rank gives Vision Connoisseur.
- Clear the Colosseum, all four leagues and 20 fights, for Just Getting Started, Arena Fighter and Career Fighter.
- Beat the 12 Legendary Arms guardians, the 15 cave masters and the 9 espers, for The Weaponsmith, Legendary Arms, The Harder They Fall, Magicite Hunter, The Bigger They Are..., Esper's Covenant and The Sovereigns of the Planet.
- Finish the 8 character substories for Conscience Renewed, and the story itself for the eight chapter trophies.
- Do the small ones: rent the chocobo at the Village of Kol for Kweh!, get Gilgamesh's Genji Gloves back on the airship deck, and keep the Platinum bonus of the game itself.
What the platinum asks for
All 40 trophies, with no partial credit and no hidden requirement beyond the list. Every one of them falls out of the route above, and the conditions behind each name are on the trophies page.
Nothing in this route can be missed
Every step above is still available after the ending, so a run that went wrong can be corrected on the Cleared save rather than replayed from the start. The one thing worth protecting is that save: the game offers it once, right after the ending, and it is what lets you come back for the endgame bosses, the Colosseum and every remaining chest. The chapter map and the three points of no return are on the walkthrough page.
Two things make this route much shorter. Chapter 1's optional fights are the ones people skip, and the Sanctums have no wrong answers, so there is nothing to look up while you collect the Visions. Expert pays 1.5 times the Mastery Points, which is the only reward that moves with difficulty, and it does not help with trophies at all.
