The Harvest Moon: Echoes of Teradea power statue puzzles number 160 statues across Teradea and its islands, and every one of them awards a Power Wisp Fruit when solved. The puzzles come in eight types, and a third of them are solved by simply walking up.
Harvest Moon: Echoes of Teradea power statue puzzles and the eight types
| Type | Count | What it asks |
|---|---|---|
| No puzzle | 35 | Walk straight up and interact |
| Sneaking puzzle | 25 | They scatter if you approach too fast — come back and creep up slowly |
| Quest puzzle | 22 | A related quest has to be finished first |
| Photo puzzle | 20 | The photo has to match what the statue shows |
| Stone puzzle | 20 | Assemble the pieces |
| Night puzzle | 20 | They only activate at night |
| Lantern puzzle | 10 | Needs a lit lantern |
| Sphere puzzle | 8 | The hardest type |
One of the statues is a plain no-puzzle interaction and can be solved by simply walking up to it, which is a useful reminder that the statues are not all minigames.
Statues that want an item instead of a puzzle
A further complication: some statues ask you for a specific item rather than a puzzle. One example needs a Sardine, which you have to catch first. Fish bite faster with bait, though a Sardine is easy enough to catch without.
Different statues also hide their pieces in different places: some want you to hunt down fragments, some want you to find Flower Stones, and 13 of the Treasure Search Areas are themselves part of a Sphere puzzle. The fragments are disguised as fish — one of the fish you catch at the relevant fishing spot turns into the fragment instead of a normal catch, so keep fishing until it appears. The fragments and the shrine that spends them are on the power wisp page.
The eight puzzle types and how many of each
The 25 sneaking puzzles are the most common frustration, because the failure looks like a bug: the statue scatters, and the fix is to come back the next day and creep up slowly instead of running at it.
The 20 night puzzles need you to plan around the clock, and the 10 lantern puzzles need a lit lantern — the Dawn of Civilization achievement is for lighting a lantern for the first time, and the Mist-Dispelling Lantern is the upgraded version with double capacity, though it still requires Lantern Oil. The 22 quest puzzles are simply gated behind other content, so they resolve as you play. The photo type has its own page in the photo puzzle guide.
Tracking the ones you still owe
The interactive map is the practical way to track them, because the DocPad map can filter specific marker types and you can set up to 6 custom markers for the statues you still owe. The other statue network on the map is the fast-travel one, and all 33 stops are on the warp statue page.
Flower Stones are the puzzle pieces for the statues: there are 87 of them, and each belongs to a specific statue — usually the one right next to it, but some are placed a short walk away, with distances like 40 m northwest, 56 m north, 57 m south, 129 m southwest or 6 m east recorded in the field data. Twenty of them sit immediately beside their statue. Because they are pieces rather than triggers, a Flower Stone does nothing on its own: pick it up, carry it to its statue, and the statue resolves.
What a solved statue gives you
Power Wisps are the rewards, and they come as Power Wisp Fruit, which you spend at a Harvest Goddess shrine to unlock upgrades — increased stamina and the ability to sow more than one seed at a time are the known ones, and there are more besides.
Collecting all 160 is the All Mysteries Solved achievement, and it pairs with the Complete Map achievement for seeing the whole map. What each upgrade buys is on the power wisp page, and the photo type has its own page in the photo puzzle guide.
