Probably Stolen mods are supported properly as of version 1.0, which added Steam Workshop support, a modding API and mod localization support. Mods load through the game's own native mod loader with no third-party injector needed, and the main menu has a Mods panel.

Probably Stolen Mods: How The Workshop Loader Works

  • Mods load through the game's native loader, so there is no injector to install.
  • The Mods panel sits in the main menu, and mods are opt-in — you enable the ones you want and can disable them again.
  • The base game keeps working without any mod at all.
  • Mods built for the demo generally will not work with the full game.
  • Localization works on both sides: mods carry their own translations, and the game itself is localized into Simplified Chinese, Russian, Spanish, French, German, Polish and Japanese.

Some mods touch the counter and some touch the whole economy, so check what a mod changes before you enable it on a run you care about. Whether Workshop installs work the same way on Steam Deck is covered on the Steam Deck page.
