Probably Stolen radioactive waste is an item that occupies storage and will not leave your inventory on its own. The workable route is to put it in a light or heavy backpack, carry it to the dumping grounds and use the hand-off or drop-off interaction there.
Probably Stolen Radioactive Waste: The Dumping Grounds Hand-Off
- Get a light or heavy backpack.
- Put the radioactive waste inside it.
- Leave free inventory capacity before you go — a full pack cannot take the item.
- Travel to the dumping grounds and use the hand-off or drop-off interaction.
Leave space in your inventory when you do this, and expect the item to come back if the drop-off refuses it. The game not letting you drop it has been the usual reason a waste item keeps reappearing, and Georgio has been known to hand it straight back to you. Reporting it to Security has been reported to backfire rather than clear it.
The night scavenging page covers what else you do on that trip and how to carry it safely.
The Fallback: Seal It And Bin The Container
Once you can afford to lose one, put the waste inside a storage container you do not want — an empty Security Crate works — and put the whole container in the trash. That is slower than the dumping grounds and it costs you a container, but it does not need a trip outside.
