Which languages the Steam edition ships
The Steam build supports Japanese, English and Simplified Chinese. The localization was announced on 2026/10/19 with a planned release date of 2026/10/24, and the release is listed as October 23, 2026.
The voice acting is Japanese in every edition. Japanese is the language marked with full audio support, so the English build is Japanese voice with English text — the characters speak the same way whichever script you select.
The Steam build also ships censored, so the explicit scenes are a separate download on top of the game. The uncensored version guide covers where that patch comes from and how to apply it.
Before the Steam edition
The game was published in Japan only before this release: the original PC release on December 5, 2022 and the mobile release. English readers were relying on unofficial machine-translation releases of the Japanese build, which is why old screenshots and forum posts use a different wording for the same menus.
The builds those translations were made from are tracked in the version history guide, including the one that is commonly called "Version 4".
When a conversation scene does not appear
If a main-story conversation scene does not display at all, the fix is to reset to the default settings from the title screen's options screen. The display and window guide lists that reset together with the full screen and layout fixes.
