What "Version 4" refers to
Players use the label for an earlier public build of the game, which is where the number comes from — there is no release called Version 4 in the developer's own numbering.
Version 1.0.9.4 of 2023/01/22 added animation to the existing scenes of Meimei, Ibu, Noir, Natasha, Albion and Berry the Sweet. If you are looking for the animated scenes and you find that the game in your library is numbered 1.0.9.x instead, this is the update you are after.

The recollection mode and the album feature
Version 1.0.6 implemented the recollection mode, which is the system behind the in-game artwork album. That album is the 回想部屋 (Recollection Room), it is open from the start, and it holds the artwork together with each scene's dialogue and voice. Two things to know before updating
The game data is downloaded through each sales platform, so DLsite, Fanza, Steam and the mobile version ship it separately and each one updates on its own.
Save data cannot be carried over from an earlier version, so an update starts from a clean save. Fanza buyers start from Version 1.0.9.6.5, which is why the number in their version list sits where it does.
