| Domovikha | 10 G | 10 / 20/20 | A cheap Territory Ability that adds Anti-Spell to the target creature for 80 G |
Flame Lord is the heaviest Fire card in the set, but the two cheapest entries do something no big card can: they change a creature on the board for a fixed price of gold.
Fire's Best Partner
Fire's best pairing is with Earth, because both elements have their own support creatures and the classic early Book is Fire/Earth. Best element combinations explains why that pairing supports itself from the start.
Fitting Fire Into a 40-Card Book
Fire cards carry real deployment restrictions — most of them need a Fire land — so they only pay off once you hold Fire territory. Deck building covers how many of them a 40-card Book can carry before the slots stop working.
