Isekai Guardians castle war guide: Castle Wars let guilds compete for control of strongholds. Open the castle overview, check the current phase, the ownership and the next transition, and join a battle slot when your guild is one of the participants in the active battle.
Isekai Guardians castle war guide: the overview
- Open the castle overview and check the current phase.
- Check who owns the castle and when the next transition happens.
- Open the castle detail page to see the applicants, the selected attacker and defender, the castle rewards, and the state of the battle.
The overview tells you where a castle stands, and the detail page tells you who is fighting over it. Both are worth reading before you commit to a slot.
Getting into a battle slot
- Confirm your guild is participating in the active battle.
- Choose an available slot when you are ready.
- Join it. Joining costs Energy.
- Coordinate with your guildmates before the conflict window, so members know which castle needs them.
Applications are handled by your Guild Master, and a guild that already holds a castle must leave it before applying for another. The number of active applications is limited, so the timing of your guild's application matters as much as the application itself.
What blocks you from joining
Joining requires a living character who is not recovering from exhaustion, and a few other commitments conflict with a battle slot:
- You cannot join while serving as a bodyguard.
- You cannot join while protected by a bodyguard.
- You cannot join while on a guild fishing raid.
Joining a castle battle also removes your newcomer protection, so be ready for that change before you enter rather than discovering it mid-fight.
You need a guild first
A battle slot requires membership in one of the guilds taking part in the active battle, so there is no way to join a Castle War as a solo player. If you do not have a guild, that is the first step, not a detail.
The guild guide covers how to browse existing guilds, how to create one, and what a guild gives its members.
Guild preparation
Guilds fight Castle Wars with shared resources rather than personal ones, so preparation happens inside the guild: pooled gold, guild skills, and members who know the schedule.
Guild skills are unlocked with guild skill points and grant bonuses that benefit members, and the guild bank holds the gold and items that fund activities. The guild raid guide covers the raid side of shared preparation, and the in-game schedule and countdown are what you should use to know when to be back at the castle.
