Isekai Guardians training grounds: Go to the Training Grounds in Astreus, choose the stat you want to improve and how much Energy to spend, then confirm. The panel there shows your base battle stats only — no equipment and no Guardian bonuses — so its numbers are always lower than the ones on your character sheet.
Isekai Guardians training grounds: the routine
- Check that you are fit to train. You cannot train while dead or exhausted, so recover first if the game is asking you to.
- Open the Training Grounds in Astreus, where your base combat stats are raised with Energy.
- Choose the stat to improve: Power for stronger attacks, Defense to absorb damage, Accuracy to make attacks connect, or Evasion to avoid incoming attacks.
- Choose how much Energy to put in, and read the bonuses shown on the screen before committing.
- Confirm the spend and watch the base value move.
Step four is the one people rush. The screen shows the effect before you pay for it, and reading it costs nothing.
What each trained stat does
- Power supports stronger attacks and helps overcome an opponent's Defense.
- Defense helps absorb damage from hits that connect.
- Accuracy helps your attacks land against Evasion.
- Evasion helps you avoid incoming attacks.
- Intellect improves training efficiency, so it is the stat that makes the others grow faster.
A balanced foundation is a sensible starting point, and your combat logs, your class and the activities you prefer should decide where you invest more heavily afterwards. The stat guide explains what each one contributes to a result.
Why the training panel shows lower numbers
The training panel deliberately shows your base battle stats without equipment or Guardian bonuses. That is the point of the screen: it tells you what you have trained, not what you currently bring to a fight.
Your real total adds gear, your active Guardian, your class and any temporary effects on top of those base values. So the training number is always the smaller one, and comparing it directly with your character sheet makes it look like something is wrong. It is not — the stat guide lists every layer that makes up the final figure.
After training, spend points on the skill tree
Training covers your base numbers. Your personal skill tree is the separate layer that shapes the character on top of character level and training, and it is where lasting perks live.
The skill tree guide covers how to read a node's effects, what a rank costs in points and Gold, and how to check a reset preview before you commit.
Spending Energy without wasting it
Two habits make a training session efficient:
- Review the displayed bonuses before a large spend instead of training in bulk and checking afterwards.
- Raise Intellect early if you plan to train often, since training efficiency scales with it.
Training is one of the three places Energy goes, and it is the one that permanently changes what you bring to a fight, so it usually deserves priority over a fight you were going to lose anyway.
