Isekai Guardians inscribe gear: The Inscriber in Beluria adds your name to eligible equipment, improves its stats and binds the item to your character, with a daily limit and one inscription per item. Bind only what you intend to keep, and turn the rest into upgrade crystals at the Recycler.
Isekai Guardians inscribe gear: what binding means
- Travel to Beluria, where the Inscriber sits.
- Choose the eligible equipment you want to inscribe.
- Check the Gold cost and the stat improvement the inscription adds.
- Check the binding consequences before you confirm.
- Inscribe it, and remember the daily limit applies to the number of pieces you can do per day.
The binding is the part to think about hardest. An inscribed item is tied to your character, so it cannot simply be recycled or traded away the way an unbound spare can. Deciding whether you intend to keep a piece first is the entire point of the screen, and the daily limit makes a wrong click expensive.
Recycling turns spares into upgrade crystals
The Recycler converts unwanted equipment into upgrade crystals, and it works as a batch operation with its own preview:
- Mark the items in your inventory so they are easier to find in the Recycler.
- Inspect the yield preview and compare it with what selling the same items would fetch.
- Confirm the batch.
- Let it run. Recycling consumes the selected items permanently and takes time, so you collect the crystals when the session finishes.
The official in-game Activity Hub shows this as Recycler with a Processing countdown, which is why the crystals are not in your inventory the instant you confirm.
Two restrictions matter before you confirm. Items locked in an active trade cannot be recycled at all, and summoned equipment returns a reduced yield, so compare the displayed return before committing something valuable.
Compare the Recycler against a sale
Your inventory also has a Junk category, and not every spare is a crafting material. Read each item's description and its available actions before selling it, because some items cannot be recycled and some are worth more as Gold than as crystals.
The rule of thumb is simple: compare the Recycler's displayed return against the sale value of the same item, and take the larger one. The trading guide covers the city shops and the other places where an item can be turned into Gold.
Summoned gear returns less
A summoned item recycles for less than a comparable item you found, which is worth remembering before you feed a rare summon into the Recycler. Check the yield preview on the exact item rather than assuming a tier.
The summoning guide explains where results come from and what to check in them before they end up in the Recycler, including whether a piece fits your class and set.
A decision order that avoids regret
- Does the piece complete or improve a set you use? Keep it, and inscribe it only if you are sure it is staying.
- Is it a duplicate of something you already own? Compare the Recycler yield against the sale value.
- Is it locked in a trade? Leave it alone until the trade resolves.
- Is it summoned gear? Check the preview, because the yield is lower than the tier suggests.
Inscription is a commitment and recycling is permanent, so a minute of reading the preview saves a piece you wanted.
