Isekai Guardians celestria: Celestria is the land you play in — the continent of outcasts and misfits that the gods left for themselves when they divided the world, and later also the name used for the world as a whole.
Isekai Guardians celestria: the map
The original map places the four settled cities around the continent, with a wild region beyond the settled frontiers:
- Astreus in the centre — the human capital and your starting hub.
- Elysium to the west — the beastkin stronghold.
- Beluria to the north — the elven bastion built over Caelthor's sealing chambers.
- Ostheim to the east — where the inhabitants who refused to take part in the wars settled.
- The Outskirts — the wild region beyond the settled frontiers.
The four cities
The older half-demon fortress-city Duskara belongs to the historical chronicle and is not one of the four travel destinations in the current city menu.
Each city carries its own identity, and that identity decides what it holds: Astreus is the hub with the training, study and dungeons, Elysium is where the beastkin rent mounts, Beluria holds the Inscriber above the elves' seal, and Ostheim is the refuge city with shops, residents and fishing.
The cities and travel guide lists which service sits in which city and how journeys between them work.
The peoples of Celestria
Four playable races are the peoples the gods cast into Celestria:
- Humans
- Elves
- Beastkin
- Half-Demons
The Dark Elves are the descendants of the elves who sealed Caelthor beneath Beluria, and the sealing is why Beluria stands where it does.
The full story of how the gods divided the world is recorded as a chronicle in Astreus, and the lore guide walks through its five chapters.
Celestria as a character
You arrive in Celestria as a Slayer summoned by the Arcluna royal family while the Demon King Vorath resurges. That is the frame for everything else on the map: the cities are political, the wars are recent, and the wild Outskirts are where the monsters come from.
The chronicle guide covers what the recorded history says about the Separation, the Twilight and the Onslaught, and the Seven Primal Dragons guide explains the seven beings whose power the elemental choice on your character comes from.
