Isekai Guardians mentor program: The Department of the Recently Summoned is the mentor program. It connects new adventurers with experienced players: browse the available mentors, choose one who still has space, and use the connection to ask questions about your early progress.
Isekai Guardians mentor program: how it works
- Open the mentor program and browse the available mentors.
- Choose one who still has space.
- Connect, and use the connection to ask questions about your early progress.
- The mentorship screen shows your progress toward completion.
- When it is over, rate your experience.
Mentorship lasts through the early levels, so it is built for exactly the window where the game has the most small confusions and the least written guidance.
Becoming a mentor yourself
Experienced players register as mentors once they meet the requirement, and they choose how many newcomers they want to guide. That choice is yours to make, and it is the other side of the same screen: a good mentor is one who has time for the questions they agreed to take.
The requirement is there for a reason, since the early levels are exactly when the game is least self-explanatory.
What to ask a mentor first
The highest-value questions in your first session are short ones:
- Which activity should I be running right now?
- What should I spend my first Energy on?
- What do I keep free for later?
These are the questions that stop you wasting a first week. The getting started guide covers the same ground in the meantime, so you are not blocked while you wait for a reply.
When a guild fits better
A mentor is one person and a fixed arrangement for the early levels. A guild is a group that stays together: shared chat, a roster, a bank, guild skills, raids and fishing expeditions.
If what you want is people to play with rather than answers to a few questions, a guild is the better shape. The guild guide covers how to browse for one that matches your schedule and what you get as a member.
Using both
They overlap for the first few levels, and that is fine. Take the mentor program while it lasts for the questions that are personal to you, and join a guild so that by the time the mentorship ends you already have a group to play with.
